Rick Farrant has had a long, award-winning career as a journalist and marketing professional, working for such publications as the Denver Post, Time magazine, the Fort Wayne (IN) Journal Gazette, the Danville (IL) Commercial-News, the Hammond (IN) Times, the Bozeman (MT) Daily Chronicle and the San Bernardino (CA) Sun. He has also worked for a number of nonprofits, including United Way, where he handled marketing, and Unity Performing Arts Foundation, where he guided marketing/development and taught oratory and creative writing. When he’s not writing, he devotes time to several social service organizations, enjoys tending to his vegetable garden, and follows with some trepidation the trials and tribulations of the Chicago Cubs. He lives with his wife, Lynn, and several cats in Fort Wayne, IN.
